Introduction to the Immanuel Korean Community
Vancouver Emmanuel Church is a community of believers who seek God's will for Vancouver and Canada and work together each day to walk in accordance with that will.

Through the Emmanuel Community, I pray that Vancouver, a spiritual wasteland, will become a blessed land overflowing with the river of grace, and that the living water of the Holy Spirit will moisten desolate souls and bring them the grace of awakening.
We strive to become the hands and feet of Jesus, serving souls according to the grace He has given us. We aim to become a community where all believers share and care for one another with the warm love of the Lord, and further, a community that spreads the fragrance of Jesus to the world as His disciples.
I hope you can find warmth, love, and rest in the Emmanuel community.
I hope to walk together on the path of Jesus' gospel for this land.
Our Vision
Towards the Kingdom of God in the Adullam Community (1 Samuel 22:1-2)
The vision of the Immanuel Korean Community is to be established as an Adullam community for God's kingdom and glory. David and the Adullam community were communities of wounded souls, but they experienced healing and restoration in God, dreamed together of a kingdom ruled by God, and were established as God's soldiers. Like the Adullam community, the Immanuel Korean Community also hopes to enjoy the grace of healing and restoration in God's love and grace, and to be established as spiritual soldiers and disciples whom God delights in in this age, firmly establishing God's kingdom on earth (1 Sam. 22:1-2).

치유 - 회복 - 성장 - 전파
1.치유의 공동체: 예수님께서는 목자 없이 유리 방황하는 사람들을 보고 마음 아파하셨던 것처럼(막6:34) 임마누엘 공동체는 세상에서 상처받은 영혼들을 품고 그들이 하나님의 임재가 충만한 예배를 통해 치유를 경험하며, 하나님의 말씀 가운데 구원의 확신과 영적인 치유를 경험하게 되는 공동체입니다.

2.회복의 공동체: 다윗이 하나님께 구원의 기쁨과 정직한 영을 새롭게 하시기를 간구한 것처럼(시51:10-12)임마누엘 공동체는 하나님과 깊은 교제를 통해 구원의 기쁨과 믿음을 회복하고, 기도와 찬양 가운데 영적인 회복이 일어나며, 성도간의 사랑과 교제를 통해 관계의 회복을 이루어 가는 공동체입니다.

3.성장의 공동체: 예수님은 영혼들을 단지 교인으로 부른 것이 아니라 제자로 부르신 것처럼(막3:13-15) 임마누엘 공동체는 한 영혼 한 영혼이 제자로 성장하며, 다른 제자를 세움으로 함께 성장해 가는 공동체입니다. 또한 아둘람 공동체의 강한 군사처럼, 하나님의 영적인 군사들로 세워져가는 공동체입니다.

4.전파의 공동체: 예수님이 말씀하신 너희는 땅끝까지 복음을 전파하라는 지상명령(마28:16-18)에 순종하여 임마누엘 공동체는 가정과 직장, 삶의 현장뿐만 아니라 땅끝까지 복음을 전파하고, 이웃 사랑을 실천하며, 이 땅에 하나님의 나라를 세워 가는 공동체입니다.
