Immanuel Church

Adullam Community
Introduction to the Immanuel Korean Community
Vancouver Immanuel Church is a community of believers who seek God's will for Vancouver and Canada and work together each day to walk in accordance with that will.
(CNBC CANADIAN NATIONAL BAPTIST CONVENTION https://www.cnbc.ca/ )
Through the Immanuel Community, I pray that Vancouver, a spiritual wasteland, will become a blessed land overflowing with the river of grace, and that the living water of the Holy Spirit will moisten desolate souls and bring them the grace of awakening.
We strive to become the hands and feet of Jesus, serving souls according to the grace He has given us. We aim to become a community where all believers share and care for one another with the warm love of the Lord, and further, a community that spreads the fragrance of Jesus to the world as His disciples.
I hope you can find warmth, love, and rest in the Emmanuel community.
I hope to walk together on the path of Jesus' gospel for this land.
Our Vision
Towards the Kingdom of God in the Adullam Community (1 Samuel 22:1-2)
The vision of the Immanuel Korean Community is to be established as an Adullam community for God's kingdom and glory. David and the Adullam community were communities of wounded souls, but they experienced healing and restoration in God, dreamed together of a kingdom ruled by God, and were established as God's soldiers. Like the Adullam community, the Immanuel Korean Community also hopes to enjoy the grace of healing and restoration in God's love and grace, and to be established as spiritual soldiers and disciples whom God delights in in this age, firmly establishing God's kingdom on earth (1 Sam. 22:1-2).
Immanuel Vision Stage 4
Healing – Restoration – Growth – Mission
1. A Community of Healing
Just as Jesus had compassion on the crowds because they were like sheep without a shepherd (Mark 6:34), the Immanuel Community is a place that embraces wounded souls from the world. Through worship filled with God’s presence, people experience healing, and through God’s Word, they gain assurance of salvation and spiritual healing.
-

-

2. A Community of Restoration
Just as David prayed for God to restore to him the joy of salvation and renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10–12), the Immanuel Community seeks to restore the joy of salvation and faith through deep fellowship with God. Spiritual renewal takes place through prayer and praise, and relationships are restored through love and fellowship among believers.

3. A Community of Growth
Just as Jesus did not merely call people to be church members but called them to be disciples (Mark 3:13–15), the Immanuel Community is a place where each soul grows as a disciple and grows together by raising up other disciples. Like the mighty warriors of the Adullam community, we are being built up as God’s spiritual army.

4. A Community of Mission
In obedience to the Great Commission—“Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:16–18)—the Immanuel Community proclaims the gospel not only in homes, workplaces, and everyday life, but also to the ends of the earth. We practice love for our neighbors and work to establish the Kingdom of God on this earth.
